Hi. My name’s Mollie Beth and I’m four an a half months old. Grampa said I could be a “gest blogger” today, so I wanted to share this picture of me that Grampa took today. My aunts were having a […]

Mollie has been a real handful today. It seems like every few minutes all day long there was something that failed to meet with her approval and she required one of her grandparents to fix the situation.
This picture was squeezed into one of her calmer moments this morning. I was shooting the stuffed animals for […]

My granddaughter is turning out to be quite the music lover. At three months old, she already will sit nearly motionless for an hour while she’s completely enthralled by The Lawrence Welk Show.
In this photo, she’s sitting on her aunt’s lap watching a Disney music video that her aunt found on YouTube.

I passed this church in Freeburg, Missouri on my way to Fulton. Freeburg is located about 10 miles outside of Rolla, Missouri. I had my daughter with me the first time we passed this church and both of us were like, “Oh, that needs a picture taken!” On the way home I stopped in a […]

Some people might look at that and shout about how that’s an antique […]

I was very pleased with the way this turned out. A few small steps really improved a picture that, in my opinion, wasn’t bad to start with. First, I fixed the baby’s red-eye problem. Next, I selected both eyes and used a little “unsharp mask” on them. While I had the eyes selected, I lightened […]

I did not take this picture. Daughter Number Two (whose nickname is Mollie) took this while I was holding Granddaughter Number One (whose name is Mollie).
Aunt Mollie grew up being called Mollie Dollie and now can’t stand that name. Therefore, when Mollie Beth got this Holly Hobby doll we had to say things like, “Look, […]
