No, I haven’t actually abandoned this blog. It’s just been one of those weeks. Sunday was one of those days when I had everything to do and nothing got finished. Monday I had to get a flu shot. There was a time the idea of me getting a flu shot was laughable. I once got over the German flu in an afternoon.

That, however, was a long time ago and, medically speaking, a lot has changed since then. Now I’m one of the people recommended to get a flu shot even when there aren’t enough to go around.

Since taking that infernal shot, I’ve been feeling sleepy and dragged out. Today, to top it all off, I watched helplessly as my throat clouded up and my voice left for sunnier skies. My throat doesn’t hurt a bit, but I can’t talk above a whisper, and I still feel like I could sleep for another month.

Flu. Shots. Suck.
