Welcome back!

 
Mom has some cats living in the barn out back. They are the descendants of a couple of strays who appeared there a few years ago. She can’t stand the idea of them going hungry or being put to sleep, and they won’t leave since that’s the only home they’ve ever known, so Mom uses this big white metal bowl to give them some crunchies every afternoon.

Apparently, on days like today that are just a little cooler that sun-warmed metal bowl must be pretty comfortable.
